On November 13th, 2008, the Child Care Community celebrated the Fifth Annual Child Care Awards of Excellence in Guelph. This event recognises the efforts of child care programmes and home child care providers who strive to achieve excellence in Early Learning and Child Care in the city of Guelph and Wellington County.The Elora Cooperative Preschool was nominated in the category of creating partnerships with families and won. The Preschool received a plaque and a cash award. Congratulations are due to Miss Debbie, Miss Kim, Miss Meredith and Miss Nancy for working so hard with the children and their families, and to parents Jen Hill and Amanda Laird for working so hard to promote our school.
